Midas team up with Plymouth Argyle & Glocs Rugby and ex Bristol City Chairman

North Somerset and Bristol based boutique law firm Cook & Co has announced it is working together with another high-profile sports personality. 

The firm is working alongside England and British Lions rugby star, Mark Regan MBE. Mark, who retired from competitive rugby in 2009, is now an ambassador for the property school Midas Estates. 

At Midas he works alongside former real estate agent Ian Clarke, who was the face of the reality TV show “The Estate Agents”. 

Charles Cook, Managing Partner at the company comments: “The firm has an impressive reputation in property, sports and media law; so it is a really good fit for us to be working with Midas.” Cook & Co’s chairman Colin Sexstone is featured in the picture along with Charles Cook and three representatives from Midas. 

Colin was previously CEO and Chairman of Bristol City Football Club and CEO of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. He is currently on the board of Plymouth Argyle and Gloucestershire Country Cricket Club.

Ex-Forces Sports Instructor builds pension in property

Robin took another mini roadtrip to Clevedon this week to meet up with another Midas client Alan Muckle who treated Ian with a sports injury as a physio in 2003 and , wanting to diversify his investments, chose to start a property portfolio.

9 years later he is happy with his choice and continues to look to property to keep his lilfestyle going and leave a legacy for his family.

Paramedic retires with Midas Property Portfolio

Robin met up with one of our clients recently to ask him how he has found his investments with Midas. Ian Summers from Cheltenham told him how his dream of owning his own portfolio has allowed him to fulfil his dream of retiring to Spain to live.

Ian has now acquired his 6th property in Spain , a 3 bed villa with pool and he leaves in the spring next year to take advantage of the lovely weather and also hopes to continue his capital gains with selecting a property close to a site where a new theme park is coming - and properties are springing up all over the place. Ian is going to rent his home out to keep the income coming in.

His view was that he could have done this without Midas but would have probably taken longer and may have made mistakes along the way.

Royal Family's - Ralph Little meets the Midas Team

Countrwide hosted a screening event for the England v France game for the Euro 2012 tournament in Piccadilly recently and the Midas team including co-director Mark Regan MBE , World Cup winning rugby player for England in 2003 attended the event.

Ralph Little from TV comedy sitcom series "The Royal Family" came as guest speaker and joined us for a conversation on the Midas model and to meet Mark. He told us he loved the idea and we're going to stay in touch.
